I'll start, I bet set 20 will be a supplementary set that retrains all og 8 heroes into their talented versions. Starvo 2, Mystic Katsu, Light Dori, Draconic Kano, Shadow Viserai, and then some new talent for Rhinar, Dash, and Azalea. 8 new CC heroes, none of them will be Sage legal.

#fabtcg set 20 is supposedly a monumental set, a huge landmark for the history of the game.

We have a keynote happening at Yokohama on Thursday, so it might be the last chance to speculate wildly on set 20!

The slow death of the LL format is truly one of LSS's biggest blunders

I’ve been a Huntsman main since day one. As a hero specialist, I saw the support and I got really excited. I still am. If Huntsman LLs tomorrow, I’ll be sad, but it’s a great story to send the hero off. I’ve had years with them.

I love the LL system tbh, we just need a better LL format afterwards.

Personally I feel like it’s missing a couple of the “standard” backgrounds in fabtcg: the region key art.
Would love to put Demonastary, the Pits, Solana, or Savage Lands as my background.
(You know I gotta put Blackjacks Tavern as my background lol, I’m contractually obligated to do so!)

Yeah, Graven equipment are insane. So much value in your silver now.

That said, I do think it would probably be unplayable at 2->1. I'm quite happy with the balance LSS found with them. Strong, but not so strong it turbo's the hero to LL

I will say, I do have some *things* to say about Pablo’s list, but I can put all that aside to watch my favorite hero potentially get their first win at such a major event

I agree with the Induction Chamber read. If you remove it, though, the draft is a really fun experience with a lot of interesting lines. People just use that card as an excuse to not engage with the format as a whole

Limited is good, actually, people just don’t want to learn the quirks of FaB draft and want to complain about the system compared to other games.
Throwback to ARC and EVO, two very good draft sets held back by general player complacency and incompetence
