Well, I do it myself basically. Raw banana has made the list! Thankfully the reaction is not too severe, so usually an antihistemine helps with the burning.
Turns out it is something called an "oral allergy syndrome" which is great because I am allergic to a mix of mystery raw fruits, vegetables, and nuts, and I won't know until I eat them.
Told my mom. She said "I wish I had one kid without a damn syndrome."

Today we went to see the Glenn Ligon exhibition at the Fitzwilliam. This is one of the benefits of living in a city for a long time, you get to see your familiar spaces transformed by different artists.
