I genuinely hate writing shorts so it's suuuper hard lmao. This is terrible of me, but every short story I've written was either as a means to an end (publish novel) or solely because I needed money. I will try, but they are so subpar to my novels and every moment is pain. 😂

I like writing stories the same way I like designing OC's: large and sprawling. 😔

There is an anthology I really, really wanna submit to and I have less than a month left, but every time I sit down to finish my piece I am reminded about how much I absolutely detest writing short stories. 🙃

I have only one story left to edit for Indecent, and I'm hoping to get it done today so I can send all four of the last stories out all in one swoop. Then I'll orbit back around and review/finalize the ones that I've gotten back already. :)

60% done with edits. Hoping to have all stories finalized by mid-March, after which it will be set free to the publisher for reformatting and covering. :)

After getting an ABSURD amount of purely AI-gen subs at the other project I read for, reading a human-made story that's cute, funny, and appeals to my Particular Senses (ahaha fat) for Indecent makes me feel like the "finally, some good fucking food" Ramsay meme lmfao.

Things are Not Great for me so I may only be able to get out one of the edited stories tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience. As a reminder, you still have 2 days to submit.

Deeply wish there were real resources out there for high-functioning autistic adults with treatment-resistant major depression beyond bullshit snake oil like group therapy and CBT. I've been at it for 20+ years and that shit has, if anything, made my symptoms worse lol.
