I'm totally pinching myself announcing this, but a film about my life journey rewilding a West Cork farm, An Irish Atlantic Rainforest, will get its first screening at the Dublin International Film Festival on Saturday the 28th of this month.

If you're a victim of repeated flooding, you need to start looking at land use upstream.
One of these sponges up vast amounts of water, releasing it slowly, the other does not. One reduces flooding, the other *increases* it.
Without addressing this core driver, it'll just keep on getting worse.
Our mountain commonage is full of intriguing caves and other such geological features, often containing remnants of rainforest flora.
They offer tantalising glimpses into the past, and a potentially far more nature-rich future with rewilding. 🌍
With great power comes great responsibility. And tooth cavities.
When you’re that pretty, you don’t need to be smart.
I’m getting such golden retriever energy from this! Please don’t ever change. Your anecdotes always cheer me up.
This is a great article and resonates with my observations with my pupils and others. The trick is converting the idea into practice. Can you point me in the direction of some practicable steps I can take to move to a better model. There is so much theory crafting going on out there!
It was wonderful! The books are so full of heart and I think the show has managed to capture that. Casting spot on so far! So thrilled for you.
Title: A Tale of Two Virgins
It’s a cracking story told really well. Enjoy!

I’m currently battling with my SLT about the current obsession about standardised scores and their use to “improve results”. This article resonated with me.
Listening to podcasts. I find History Hits good and if you have A***** Prime already you can access ad free versions on its music app. I particularly like the Ancients, Medieval and Twixt The Sheets for a little naughty history.
Oh gosh! I hadn’t realised that you had a book out. Immediately bought it. Your YouTube channel saved my bacon so many time when i started teaching alevel maths (older, second career, a bit rusty then).

A good article. Food for thought. Slavishly following other countries maths teaching models contributed to this. We need to find our own path. This looks like a good start. I see 13yo pupils still using fingers instead of knowing basic number bonds. And don’t get me started on multiplication!
Reposting this, as we're very close to getting this problem completely solved. (With all thanks to the many kind folks who've already bought book bundles! You people are all such stars.) 💖 Repost, if you feel inclined? And thanks, all!
