Given some of these comments, and the parties lack of plans around childcare, it’s easy to see why proportionally fewer women are voting for a Reform than any other party.

"I have heard a lot off my friends and I am voting Farage"

When it comes to influencing how people will vote in May's election, a lot of attention is put on social media.

But conversations with friends and family can make a huge difference to how people perceive politics and issues.

Labour - 24
Conservatives - 7

Liberal Democrats - 3

You need 49 for a majority.

"I would rather w**k with a razor".

Pretty clear response from bloke in Wales when asked if he would consider voting Reform...

The man from Reform (who took it in good spirits tbf) is Zak Weaver, a former Tory staffer who defected in February.

Reform or Plaid? Whichever way Welsh voters go, the country will be utterly transformed | Will Hayward Each party has its own version of nationalism to offer voters in May’s Senedd election: closer ties to England or more independence for Wales, says Guardian columnist Will Hayward

Really enjoying all the content from @willhaycardiff.bsky.social about Wales and Welsh politics

I really need to get on and read his book! 🫠

Labour First Minister of Wales Eluned Morgan posts video attacking Donald Trump.

Says the US under Trump "is not the partner it once was".

Strong statement.

I would also suggest that the fact she is battling to win a seat in Pembrokeshire is also a factor.

Want positive news?

Though social media & certain politicians act like the public don't care about climate change, the evidence is most people in Wales totally get that this is a serious issue.

Polling found supporters of all parties in Wales (except Reform) were concerned about global warming.

The most vulnerable people in Wales Why simply making laws isn't enough...

Wales has 7.2k children/young people in care.

Profit-making companies provide 80% of children’s residential home places, and a 1/3 of fostering.

From 2030, profit-making will be banned in the sector.

But there are serious issues with the plan .

Super to have analysis from @willhaycardiff.bsky.social on the Welsh election, setting out:

🌼 Why this is such an unprecedented election for Wales
🌼 How an increase in young voters seeing themselves as Welsh not British is changing things
🌼 Plaid's approach to talking about independence

How does the new Senedd election voting system work?

I tried to do 2 impossible things:

1. Explain it simply.
2. Explain it in one take.

This election really matters so please share to help as many people as possible exercise their right to have a say over their futures.

Calling all Welsh politics nerds! This is cool.

This website let's you predict specific stuff around the Senedd election and then compares them to where you sit compared to other people.

They also do a great podcast which I was recently. Watch here:

It appears that yet again someone has vandalised the Reform UK Office in Caerphilly.

Someone has replaced the word "Reform" with "Fascism".

So it now reads "Wales needs Fascism".

Back in October someone also wrote "now you can f*** off home" after the party lost in the Caerphilly by-election.

One of the things I love about the For Wales, See Wales pod, and in particular the Senedd episodes, is the room given to politicians to just speak without necessarily resorting to sound bites and slogans. Diolch @willhaycardiff.bsky.social @robinjmorgan.bsky.social and Mel ❤️
