Even the distinction between getting stuck looping through Youtube shorts versus searching Youtube for specific research topics on specific skills... Not all youtube scrolling is equal.

So I hope to help them start being deliberate in their internet use. Smooth-brained vs. wrinkly-brained. I like.

Starting to talk with my kids about "smooth-brained" activities versus "wrinkly-brained" activities, and I think I like the distinction.

Scrolling youtube? Smooth-brained.
Using the digital audio workstation to make music? Wrinkly-brained.
