I’m not even sure when that later class is bc they say it starts tomorrow but that can’t be true. There is a different class tomorrow that would happen at the same time. Both are mandatory so they can’t both happen tomorrow at that time 😭

Apparently some classes aren’t yet happening? I was told it’s bc of Easter? So my class this morning actually isn’t happening. And it seems that my class later today isn’t happening as well.

Oh no apparently I didn’t sign up for a thing correctly last semester. I just had to hand in some stuff for it and I did that but apparently I had to sign up both in person and online (I did only in person) I didn’t even find the online signup 😭 now I have to call people and hope it’s fixable

It’s my first day at uni today. For my masters degree changed to a different uni in a different city. I don’t know anyone here and I’m both scared and excited. I know everything will turn out ok, but that doesn’t change the nervousness.

Instagram never does anything when reporting accounts or comments or posts I think. I used to report scams (i think? when I was still on Instagram.. two years ago) and it would always lead to “we think this is ok but you could block them if you don’t agree”

I make an app for teachers timetables. I was quite proud to have released a big update and an in-app event for v2.0 last week. Something that only occurred to me now is that it’s currently Easter holiday for teachers in Germany. 🫠😂 well maybe I will time things better next time…

What’s your project?

The painting when the colors were still wet. Some tall mountains in the back, and some mountains with tall trees in the front. The trees are green and brown, the mountains are light brown and green-ish. The mountain in the back middle is very spiky, and the one on the back right has some trees growing on the top. The painting is on my desk with open colors on top of it.

Two paintings I made on a wall. The edges are held down with a pink tape shining through the rice paper. Left painting is the new painting with mountains and a couple of trees in the front. It has light colors. The right painting one is a black ink painting of some rocks and some trees. It’s the first one I ever made. A copy of another painting from one of my classes.

Finished it. Don’t mind the pink tape I used to pin it and the other painting to the wall. I don’t have the correct rolls to hang it properly, and I don’t want to drill into the wall for a frame (I don’t have). & I don’t want them to be rolled up in a box until I forget they exist.

Hmmm. What I like about the current icon is that it’s recongizable as a keyboard key.
Out of the new ones you made I like the first one, nice gradient. I think the darker second new one is too colorful imo. Maybe you could lean more into “keyboard” and less into 2’K’s?

Yes, I know this might come a little late & sound a bit dumb, but I assumed the joy is having the finished thing. If I had taken a closer look at any of my paintings, I would have realized much earlier that the joy is creating. I don’t paint bc of the outcome, but bc I enjoy painting.

A bit like a painting that the professor of my class made. Looks nicer but I didn’t make it. I have been thinking a lot about the fun in making something, and the pride that comes with creation. Now I’m back with trying to learn about new (to me) frameworks, having fun again.

I had a similar feeling earlier this week. I was thinking about how I liked making apps bc I liked programming. Now I feel the pressure to use AI to be more productive and fix bugs faster. But now I don’t have fun anymore, plus I don’t feel it’s “my app” it’s not something I created anymore.

I like the one on the bottom left, but that seems more like it has 3Ks, not two, the top left seems like one K and an arrow. Bottom right seems most like 2Ks.
I have to say I kinda like the icon you currently have.

The original painting, its a download from a museums website. It’s a long painting with threes and rocks at the bottom, there are also two people and a little house on the right side of the painting. It’s in warm colors. There are some tall mountains coming up through the clouded, and some blue mountains in the distance

Started a new painting today. It’s been nice having some time for this. ✨ I really need to get some practice in, I feel my mountains are too flat… (and I’m missing all of the details)

I use Pixelmator pro, love that they have all the templates ready, but I ventured to create my own at some point, they have all the text, colors and frames, so I just need to insert the actual screenshot. But I just have to search for keywords on my laptop. I can never remember where they are 🫠

I have updates ready for two apps, and I thought “whilst I’m here, I should redo the screenshots”
