Coastal residents to head to higher ground immediately.

The epicentre was 100km ENE of Miyako, Japan (population ~50,000. Weak shaking was reported across northern Honshu. A tsunami warning has been issued for coastal areas of NE Japan and residents have been told to evacuate immediately. Waves up to 3m high are expected.
