Mr. Makled has a lot of work to do to convince the voters of Michigan that he's the right guy for the job. It won't be easy. But I think it's possible.

But, for tonight at least, I'm celebrating. Good f***ing riddance.

And as for antisemitism, well, Acker loved to claim that any critique of his behavior was "antisemitism", a move that cheapens a very real threat and makes us all less safe. He's the boy who cried wolf.

But a few ill-advised tweets (that Makled at least had the self awareness to delete *before* they became a scandal) don't equal Acker's years-long in-office history of being a loose cannon, an asshole, and a sex pest, among other things.

I actually did waver on this over the last week, what with the hit pieces on Amir Makled's twitter history. When somebody crosses over into actual antisemitism, at some point I've got to actually think about self preservation...

MDOT is considering bus lanes on Washtenaw Ave in Ann Arbor!!! This would be huge for all of Washtenaw Co., as TheRide's 4/104 are the most frequent buses in SEMI.
