So sad when a game ends up good, but then I remember it was revealed in a tweet instead of a Nintendo Direct so I have to subtract points from my enjoyment

Xenogears has a great narrative and it's #2, but I think Grandia hit me more in the moment. It also partly doesn't help that Xenoblade 1 had already used a ton of the same plot events as Disc 2 of Xenogears.
Also RuneScape Classic didn't come until 2001 (which I didn't play), and RS2 until 2004 :^]
Easiest choices in my life.
That sidequest dump right at the end of Neutral was diabolical
The best AAA games have always been the ones that open doors for other games. If it weren't for Mario's complex movement, we wouldn't have platformers like Celeste. No Doom 2016, no boomer shooter revival. Without Dark Souls, indie combat games would be far different now. The list goes on.
At the very least, the Great Sea eventually became Breath of the Wild's open world. During endgame, the islands all having mini dungeons you'd just stumble upon is basically the same gameplay loop that BotW/TotK would later relish in. I thought it was really interesting playing WW after TotK.
Sin and Punishment

It's crazy how much Meteo hard carries your score if you hit the warp lol
Corneria - 183 hit Sector Y - 164 hit Aquas - 160 hit Zoness - 260 hit Sector Z - 102 Area 6 - 310 Venom II - 227 Total hits - 1406
Doing more runs of Star Fox 64, this time on 3DS. I think I did really good this time around...
Not my favorite rail shooter, but I can see why it could be someone else's because it's super charming and unique even to this day.
It's always vindicating getting that at the end lmao
Corneria - 192 hit Meteo - 244 hit Fichina - 60 hit Sector X - 194 hit Titania - 167 hit Bolse - 152 hit Venom - 155 hit Second place - 1164 hits
In a Star Fox mood again, so I ran through another playthrough of Star Fox 64. Did you know... 64 good?
A video game I wrote decades ago comes to Nintendo Switch and Steam.
A crime mystery set in 100 years before Xenosaga Episode I when Ziggurat 9 (Ziggy) was still a human known as Jan Sauer. He investigates the incident that eventually leads him to want to become a 100% machine.
#xenosaga
Seeing all the "BSky is down because of Claude vibecode" posts and being torn between
>correcting them since it's actually an AWS issue
>letting them post because the slander is both really funny and very much deserved
Funnily enough, I think that's because you can actually fail the wall kick in Mario 64. But because you can fail, the wall kick can be immediate and you don't need to cling onto the wall before doing a wall jump, like in the other 3D Mario games.

This has been going around over the past week, finally filled it out.
Tbh it's just a thing on every forum and social media lol, not just Era (but they are particularly bad about it)
Excited for people to not watch the video but still give opinions as if they did?
Happy birthday!

The original Metroid reviews back in 2010.
Why are you being elitist over the players who don't care about the meta? Think of them, Jiikae!
I'm gonna hop into early access myself. Normally I wouldn't do that but I trust the team enough to go for it.
Gonna be so annoying about this game, buckle in.

weird juxtaposition where people in power and influence are saying absolutely heinous, deadly things without any restraint of conscience, and everyone reacting to it is having to bite their tongue and speak in euphemisms not to get banned or arrested or whatever
Bluesky needs to stop vibecoding their shit because it's been breaking way too much recently...
Yeah I managed to somehow get Neutral without looking up a guide. Used a guide for the quests themselves though lol, it was so ass.
Finally wrapped up SMT4.
It was pretty good! But it is a bit frustrating to play without a guide. Progression is sometimes obtuse and you really have to log where everything is on your own because the world map is not good. Not 100% sold on Press Turn either just yet.
4A is next but that's later.
I'm going to work today! ...Oh wait, isn't today a holiday?
Oh well, I guess I'll go home and play some video games.
Happy Easter!
