How do you change the day? Just keep winding?
And it makes sense, right? It's our homes and our communities and our jobs! Like... The answer was right there π€£
Grapes are nature's candy
I just listened to this podcast coming at it from the other side, climate funding: www.volts.wtf/p/why-climat...
And of course, household economies, immigration challenges, homelessness, and so forth. It feels like anyone who cares about anything is meeting up at housing.
Partner: How exactly does one "ban social media for everyone under sixteen?"

Bunnies in a raft pull up next to a spaceship capsule, which has just splashed down and is floating in the open sea. Visible in the capsule, two bunnies wave at the ones in the boat.
Daily bunny no.3285 made it home safely
I feel like procgen has always struggled with this a bit, but lately I just say, "I do level design and programming" π€£
When the grandparents are visiting, all of a sudden those stupid "his and her sinks" in the master bathroom become gold.
We used to live about 3 blocks from there, we have a family trip planned to visit the old playground and then bike over the bridge. π€©
So cooooolllll π³π³π³

On Marine Drive there's those four huge religious building with massive parking lots, wedged in between a couple small farms. I've always wondered what happened there.
Steam just recommended a scratch-ticket idler to me.
I can't help but notice how american society is getting overwhelmed by gambling, and there's this very successful thematic genre of current games which is just... gambling.
Even if you have to namespace it, I still prefer the second:
`Entity.MoveTo(inst, x, y)`
I think I just really don't like objects hahah...
It's interesting: these two function call styles are effectively identical, but for some reason the second one feels almost infinitely more flexible and aesthetic to me:
`inst.MoveTo(x, y)`
`MoveTo(inst, x, y)`
#gameDev
It feels like more construction leads to developers having to compete more, and aesthetics is one way a development stands out.
It's pretty intense how a dream can totally mess with a person's waking life! My sympathies! π’
I don't quite understand: why doesn't discord automatically detect when a user posts the same message in every single server, channel, group, and DM and just automatically mute them and clean up the messages? Why put the burden on every server admin (and the hacked user themselves!)?
This was us for a while, with toys and things, but the things to repair got more and more prohibitive as the kids aged, and now they've stopped asking π
(Prohibitive being either unrepairable electronics, cheap crap that turns to dust, or things where my own repair skills no longer keep up)
I've heard that "juice" vs "cocktail" is a labelling requirement based on sugar content. Unsure how true it is, but heads up that the signal is there π€·
I head somewhere that Avi Lewis wants to make proportional representation a key plank. Sigh. What a dream that would be π€©
Just reading this recent release from FairVote.

The thing is, okay fine, they made the cuts. They could now be like, "oh, the situation has changed, we need to put the money back". That kind of thinking is *allowed*, right? π
The utter inability to see spectrums and nuance seems to be the hallmark of our times.
This is super frustrating to me because the thing the Waymo execs keep bleating over and over is "bUt iTs SaFeR!!"
It turns out that simple accommodations, such as quiet spaces, flexible scheduling and written instructions, arenβt special privileges. They often make the workplace better for everyone, writes Julie Green.
Absolutely iconic
Also need to consider the relative costs of those accidents.
I'm picturing the driver bumping up onto the curb, stumbling out of the van, and just slow twirling with his arms out as flower petals flutter down around him. Sun sparkles through the branches. Flute music plays.
A single tear rolls down his cheek.
