Putting yourself out there and exposing yourself to rejection and criticism daily is hard. Voice acting is a hard job. You need to have thick skin.

it's said that voice actors book only 2-3% of auditions they submit. TWO TO THREE PERCENT, that's it.
Just remember that going forward, and that "send it and forget it" it the motto for a reason.
Every no is one step closer to that inevitable yes!

Voice actors! For indie work, make sure you have your own contract drawn up to protect yourself, which includes AI protections! I always present potential clients with one, and it's astounding how many clients refuse to sign it. That's then a BIG NO from me.

voice actors should always be trying to market themselves. keep that in mind for online interactions, if your account is public. anybody including casting directors and agents can look up your tweets and replies, so be mindful in the way you conduct yourself online.
