Tbh I still don’t know what all I’m going to do, but here’s where I am right now

I finally found the china cabinet of my dreams, so I promptly began doing what I do…which is having a vague idea and messing around until I figure things out. It’s taken a while to get to this point, but when I finish it it’s gonna be AMAZING

So I find myself just sitting there sometimes, not participating in conversation much or at all, because it’s easier that way 🤷🏻‍♀️

I need my people to be patient with me. It’s bad enough that I have to keep saying “no…no, that’s not it” while I’m still trying to remember a simple phrase. It’s made worse when what they’re guessing is just so…far off? Like…have they even been listening?

One thing that sucks about experiencing cognitive decline is that sometimes when I’m talking to folks, my brain short-circuits mid-story or -sentence, and instead of giving me a fucking second to find the right words to continue people start trying to guess what I’m trying to say. I hate it.

Thanks! It was…a journey 😂 eventually I’m gonna paint my cabinets some obnoxious color but I’m currently entwined in a different all-consuming project 😂

I used eggshell wall paint, but when I got to the end (which was the middle of the wall) I ran out of white so I used acrylic to mix the last two colors. That meant I had two glossy triangles (oops) so I covered more triangles with a clear gloss and wow what a happy accident

Yeah there is one store where I can find pants/jeans in extra short 😂 I bought a pair of crop jeans last year - they hit the floor. My new crop leggings cover my feet!

I’m in St Louis, but in my advanced age I find in-store shopping unbearable 😂 I’ve done Poshmark, with mixed success. And unfortunately…my experience with thrift stores is “yes we have two potato sacks in your size, you’re welcome” 😂
