a tweet by alex blechman. it reads: Sci-Fi Author: In my book I invented the Torment Nexus as a cautionary tale. Tech Company: At long last, we have created the Torment Nexus from classic sci-fi novel Don't Create The Torment Nexus
i wrote 3623 words today! chipping away at the most difficult WIP i've ever written. happy i was productive. π
big same and binging comforting tv shows. the world is on fire and it's way too much for my little brain to handle. im just not equipped for it. :/
clonazepam twins! that shit works wonders for my general social anxiety.
aww. hugs.
you're very welcome. :) i hear you. i still need to set up a salon visit to bleach my hair and dye it blue. ive been dragging my feet on it, but it needs to be done. i cant bleach at home anymoreβit's just too risky and i dont want bleach in my eyes.
unabashedly so. i just fucking love cats so much youtu.be/sP4NMoJcFd4?...
something to brighten your day. look at how cute they are :)
a diagram of a blue circle. the text on the top reads "Things you love to see." The key has a blue box and it says "It." The blue circle is "It," and it's meant to be a joke image riffing on the popular phrase "We love to see it"
aww omg this is so cute i might burst! thank you for sharing your furbabies. :)
yeah i think the pacing of ds9 is pretty solid tbqh. i appreciate the breaks in the dominion plot and character building episodes. even the slice of life episodes are great. i know people have their own opinions about when ds9 gets good but it's good from the jump, you're so right.
i hope so too. fuck that guy.
TNG was my intro to Star Trek but I always liked DS9 more. Watched it when it was syndicated and finally saw it all while it was on streaming.
I'm glad DS9 has been wonderful. It's truly a unique and important show.
I'm currently watching TNG all the way through with a buddy for the first time.
Very true. It was so good. And the Prophets pinning down Sisko's trauma was really well done also. Happy I'm introducing you to the series. It's been a unique treat to share it with you :).
hahah i feel you, i feel you.
i think i'll do a rewatch soon too. they thankfully have it up on crunchyroll!
hugs
i remember loving the anime but never picked up the manga. i wonder how different it is...
oh that's good. im glad they'll get it. infowars sucks and deserves to be turned into a parody of itself.
me too. me too. :)
intaking all the horrors is a sure-fire way to get depressed, definitely. and i don't want to aggravate my bipolar brain any more than it already is. ill stick to reposting cats and talking briefly about my writing.
i see i see. thanks for the information.
so we shall see if it pans out? i have hope. crossing my fingers.
i do the same and i feel the same way. i *do* know it's a privilege to be able to ignore the wheel of horror but it's not a loop my fragile mind can be stuck in. it's too easy to slip into something dark. like a sticky, inky substance caking in the very fibers of your being.
Thank you. You're so affirming and kind. :>
