Anyway, I got some Shokz OpenDots. Quality is great for what I'm listening to, and I barely notice them on my ear.

Tbh, fast black metal is perfect for running outside, because if you're gonna listen to something with open ear or bone conducting speakers, you're not gonna hear the difference in production quality anyway.

Feels like I can't win here, and that my body decides to break without warning whenever I am peaking. No matter how many precautions I take.

So new 10k record by a huge margin on Saturday. And today I did a self-palpation of my leg and found pain consistent with stress fracture (focal++).

If it's actually a stress fracture then it's really infuriating, because I have done so much to prevent exactly this shit. And yet my body be like 🦴💥

For now! This is the first any% Moon speedrun NASA has done in a while, but afaik they're also aiming for a glitchless run, which means they can't use the Moon landing bypass glitch.

So I just ran a 10k in 44:26, which is wild given I ran 48:31 in November.

I am guessing this is gonna be the first and last time I get 9.2% faster in ~6 months.

I am gonna run a 10k today, and it feels like a sign that Archspire released the album "Too Fast To Die" yesterday.

Thinking about how one of the most valuable things I've learned from trying to write is that I just have to sit with the discomfort and frustration of not being able to write, and persist with the attempt anyway, until I finally get something done no matter how small and incremental it may be.

Isn’t it weird how “AI literacy” being pushed on students isn’t about learning how it works, the cost of how it works, learning to spot disinformation, media and tech literacy. But instead is just “employers will like it if you get it to write your emails :)”

Unless there is an exceptionally good reason for not doing it, art placeholders should always look like placeholders.

The goofier, the better. 😁

No joke, you know a black metal album's gonna be good when the guest vocals are birds.

Also, the song Carniflora is really good.

I wonder if Hanging Garden will be the "replacement" for Swallow the Sun for me. The last singles have felt darker and bleaker than their last album.

I did a super slow run on Sunday with no elevation and still managed to hurt my legs somehow 🤷‍♂️

My 100% speedrun of all the different kind of leg pains you can get is going smoothly.

The reviews used to justify this excluded nearly 97% of all studies from inclusion in their analysis. This is an absolutely obscene hatchet job by the NHS specifically created to eliminate access to hormones for trans youth.

Audio controller is REALLY buggy though :/ Annoying, that's the only thing that really is missing here I think.

Looks good so far though, it's a good story for a solid Niri setup.

What I REALLY like with it is that I can click "Dark mode" and whoop, all my applications go into dark mode. That includes the terminal, emacs, Firefox...

Also the MPRIS controller is cool.
