World’s largest battery made of sand powers an entire town and could be the key to solving climate change The sustainable alternative keeps the town of Pornainen, Finland, warm

Off the back of my trip to Finland last week, here's all about my visit to Polar Night Energy's sand battery:

I spent time at ABB testing out its simulator used to train crew powering some of the world's largest cruise ships and popped in on IQM, who are building world-leading quantum computers

I got to visit some inspiring Finnish innovations including Polar Night Energy's Sand Battery providing heat to an entire town and Aalto's Wave and Ice Tank testing out Arctic impacts on modern ships - both the largest of its kinds in the world!

An incredible week spent in Helsinki kindly hosted by Business Finland where I got to watch Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Elina Valtonen speak at the opening of the Millennium Technology Prize 2027 Award Cycle

I had a great time at this year's MWC and I even caught a glimpse of King Felipe VI of Spain 👀

Had a great evening last week at the launch celebration for the new HONOR Magic8 series
