I swapped out quin gold for new gamboge. I like this better. I would still wish for ultramarine instead of Paynes gray though :)

I learned recently about the Zorn palette for oils and I thought I would try it using watercolor. I picked quin gold instead of yellow so it doesn't get vibrant oranges. And I picked Paynes gray instead of black. But then watercolor doesn't mix the same way.

I genuinely enjoy taking close up pictures of grass. It's simple and complex at the same time, common but also unexpected to look at it at close up.
