In closing, I just want to say, all those reps who are braying about 25A are fucking cowards. They aren't calling for 25A because it is the right tool for the job. They are doing it because they are afraid of doing their job, taking a stand, and fighting back.

The thing that suits the current moment is impeachment. And I know you think it won't work, but my siblings in Christ, it has a 1,000% better chance of actually removing DJT from office than 25A. Moreover, the mechanics of that process, investigation, referral, trial, can be public

Warrior Ethos, Cat Style: Erin Hunter’s Warriors: Into the Wild - Reactor A fantasy adventure series for cat-lovers of all ages...

In the latest SFF Bestiary, Judith Tarr (@dancinghorse.bsky.social) slow blinks at Warriors: Into the Wild, the story of a kitten-gone-feral that's gripping and fantastical enough to make her suspend her knowledge of the harsh life feral cats face in our reality.

Meanwhile, want to support a writer-about-wizards who's (a) been doing it longer than the younger, less experienced writer, and (b) doesn't like ruining people's lives? Try these. (Not if you're in the UK, sorry: Brexit...) bit.ly/YWNMESET

They do, but you have to ask. I asked for and got a prepopulated claim form back in October. There is some tiny fine print buried in the site about this. I still had to fill out a few cells, but all the fiddly bits were filled in for me.

In case someone sees this in time. Good luck to all.

Sincerest sympathies.

Last time I redid the roof, they dropped the entire load of shingles through the corner of my house. Took out my bathroom. Ended up with insurance follies, contractor follies, new siding, new gutters, new bathroom, partial reno of other bathroom, and eventually, new roof. 😱

I love finally dragging myself online after an exhausting week of teaching & existing to find out my country has decided to start another war.

Turns out my naive belief at twelve years old was actually correct: patriotism is dumb and countries are like high schools if the sports teams did murders.

She's talking about law, but it applies to AI in general. Academic research, tech writing, medical analysis, you name it.

When the bubble bursts, it's going to be a huge honking mess. Think Hindenburg.

I am asking people to recommend books with cats in. I'll be writing about some of them.

Also, dogs and other animals. I have done shapeshifters previously. Am now on aliens and space critters.

Hey! Guys, I write a series on Reactormag called SFF Bestiary. Have you written a book, sff or f, that features aliens based on earth animals? We're on cats now. Would love some new reads. Can't promise to feature them all, but let us know about your book. Every little bit helps.
