The job of these NFM features? Hold back stormwater, store it temporarily, & release it slowly to ease downstream flooding. It won’t be crystal-clear, but storing runoff brings real ecological value for species that thrive in these conditions. #FloodResilience #WorkingWithNature

Thanks to everyone who joined us at our Open House on the Chalgrove Brook. Two years on, the fish bypass channel is thriving with wildlife. Guests enjoyed a Riverfly demo and discovering the stream’s aquatic life.
