Trump speaks with Artemis II crew | full video YouTube video by CBS News

A deeply sobering moment : you’ve travelled to the farthest point away from the Earth, further than any human has ever been…
… and you still can’t get away from the drivelling orange shitgibbon.

They totally levelled the village my mum was born in for this. Then they decided they weren’t going to run it that far. They’ve also made a total mess of Birmingham. When I was at Birmingham Film Fest, finding my way to the cinema through the construction was near-impossible.

Life is tragic simply because the earth turns, and the sun inexorably rises and sets, and one day, for each of us, the sun will go down for the last, last time. Perhaps the whole root of our trouble, the human trouble, is that we will sacrifice all the beauty of our lives, will imprison ourselves in totems, taboos, crosses, blood sacrifices, steeples, mosques, races, armies, flags, nations, in order to deny the fact of death, which is the only fact we have.
It seems to me that one ought to rejoice in the fact of death—ought to decide, indeed, to earn one's death by confronting with passion the conundrum of life. One is responsible to life: It is the small beacon in that terrifying darkness from which we come and to which we shall return. One must negotiate this passage as nobly as pos-sible, for the sake of those who are coming after us. 6

Keir Starmer and David Lammy are taking an extraordinarily dangerous gamble with our individual liberty This week, MPs will vote on the second reading of the Courts and Tribunals Bill. Don’t let the anodyne name fool you – this is one of the most revolutionary pieces of legislation in our…

“By removing trial by jury, Keir Starmer & David Lammy are abolishing the ultimate guarantee of independence in our criminal justice system, & are placing extraordinary, unprecedented & untrammelled power into the hands of whichever politicians come after them”

Exit Protocol #movie #shortfilm #fantasy YouTube video by Steve Dix

My second film, “Exit Protocol”, is now available on YouTube. It was made on a shoestring budget while I was unemployed. It took two days to film, and then a year to finish - due to me doing everything by myself.

Oh God, now the Germans are going to claim they invented writing as well as everything else they already claim to have invented.

… to worry about a slightly unPC 8-minute film.

I‘m going to end up getting shot like John Lennon, aren‘t I?

My film has started attracting right-wing nutjobs. Two have been insistent that Hitler was left-wing, because of a tiny plot point. One accused me of blasphemy for possibly the best joke in the whole film. I just delete them and carry on with my life, because life is too short.

Something strange - if you watch our film and then watch „Cassandra“ on Netflix, they used the same location for the garden and the swimming pool/ living room. We didn‘t use the swimming pool (it was the camera room) but we did find a dessicated frog in it. The pool was empty.

They do. Amongst the other (local) Politicians lampooned were Friedrich Merz and members of the AfD.

Believe me, they do allow political satire in the Cologne Carneval. One of the floats showed Friedrich Merz in bondage gear in a compromising position. I live on the parade route through the southside of Cologne.
