Way back in the day we used to put our own music on tape and CDs and distribute them ourselves in shows and over mail, sometimes forming good friendships with people. It seems that despite the challenges, the revenue seemed more than what streaming platforms give us today.

So I'm curious. Do you all use Spotify? As a listener or artists?

The reason I ask is that it does seem so tied to platform like meta and so on, and I feel that most of us are here on this platform as a reaction to what those platforms are doing to our data in one way or another. Is this wrong?

I'm curious about some of the modeler setups. I've been doing a ton of stuff with virtual plugins on recordings, but started building out my effects with actual pedals now for a while. My only gripe is putting them together sometimes to travel, and how technical it can get for those with little time
