About this weekend:
It was very windy (at right)
There were over 8” of pow
Type 2 fun was had by all
I wore all the coats (4 hoods at once)
Many calories were consumed.
But
Most importantly
The skiing was excellent.

I spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out the optimal layers. This probably happens at least 4x a week- and it’s more often than it used to be as global warming causes more extreme shifts in weather patterns.

When you get 8” of snow in Boston, that means one thing: it’s time to ski the Fells! A totally ridiculous and fun post-work Monday romp. And yes, we got lost, because it’s the Fells.
Having fun using my valentine-making event to carve cute stamps for everyone to use. Sign up: community-events.arcteryx.com/artintheoutd...
For a few years, I did a Valentine’s Day mailing (inc. a coloring book, zine, handmade prints, etc.). Mostly because I love sending (and receiving) fun mail.
Handmade, paper valentines on a cluttered desk. One says “I pine for you,” another “I’m nuts about you” with a depiction of a climbing nut; one “you’re a catch,” and a rock with “you rock” painted on it.
In-person community means the world to me right now. I’ll have valentines crafting materials at Arc’teryx Chestnut Hill on Feb. 12 from 6:30-8pm if you want to stop by for some cozy community time! Rsvp so we have materials: community-events.arcteryx.com/artintheoutd...
