Quite often the Communist dictatorships turned pretty socially conservative though. A lot of people do not like to admit it, but "the workers" tend to be that way quite often and if you add "the agriculture workers" in the mix... Our Communists would be right there with MAGA on things like LGBTQ+ :)

In (at least post-Soviet) European context, Liberal parties tend to be center-right. All the human rights stuff is after all very bourgeoise ideas (and all the "eat the rich, class war now" LARPers in the West would be for a rude awakening in a real dictatorship of the Proletariat :))
