Same basic principal with the Earth and moon in the original video, the Earth is about 4 times bigger than the moon, but it was much further away from the camera than the moon was.

Well, if I now take those 2 cubes and put them next to each other, you can see the white one is actually smaller. It only looked bigger than the dark blue cube because the dark blue cube was further away.
