FYI a brand new app is coming this year

Yes I’m not a fan of the canal paths either - especially at night but not just then. More options and controls will come in time

Useful feedback, thanks! Some of that we possibly won’t ever do, our intention right now is to make it easy for someone to start cycling, rather than targeting more experienced cyclists, hence the simplicity. Definitely more to add though, even for that case.

Glad you like it, although not great to hear it felt hidden :(

Love the first one in this group 😃

I’ve been using it for the last month and can’t wait to share it with everyone

Fair enough! If you’re using an iPhone, later this month we are adding live bus location too which should make it even more helpful 😃

Hard to know without knowing the particular route and stop, but it sounds like what could happen if a diversion is active, but hasn’t been loaded in the stop / route data. In that case the stop would keep reporting the buses arrival but it would never come

As an aside, curious when your bus times app is needed vs TfL Go (my team builds it) as I’d love to know what we’re missing.

Yes, although they take the base data and real time info, I expect they do their own processing on top, eg they have their own journey planning engine

2 weeks ago 1 0 1 0

Yep we made sure to include these requirements because it’s been limiting us internally too!

FYI as the journey planner showed that journey it means it’s operating. Get that the message introduces confusion though

No worries, we all get frustrated at times 😃

Hey yep I work in the digital team, feel free to send specific examples my way 😃

No strike, mind sharing your rough journey so I can look into that?

You may have several cards showing that look the same - each one is representing a different device your card is attached to, eg your phone wallet, physical card, watch. History should be under one of these

Was it with Oyster or Contactless? It should be in your history within 15-20 mins of travel...

Once your card is registered, you can view the history in TfL Go (or on our website). When there is an incomplete journey needing adjustment / refund, often this is automatic within a couple of days, but if not you can follow the button labelled ‘Request a refund’ from TfL Go.

Screenshot of an Android Home Screen. At the top there is a standard weather widget showing the date of Tue 10 Feb, cloudy 10ºC. There are 4 similar looking widgets of different sizes, each showing a balance in British pounds, a name and a last updated time. These widgets represent Oyster cards registered to the account logged in via TfL Go.

Below the widgets are icons for the TfL Go app, phone, messages, Chrome, Camera and Google Search.

Android user with an Oyster card who likes widgets? Download the v3.4.1 of TfL Go and set it up for easy access to your card details and history, and direct access to top ups when your balance drops below £5. play.google.com/store/apps/d...

Keen for feedback so please let me know what you think 😃

and when you moved the VPN to a different UK IP, it started working, or you were still unable to login?

2 months ago 1 0 1 0

and you mentioned "changing which VPN IP I'm connected to, allows the MFA process to complete first time." - in these cases you can login via TfL Go?

2 months ago 0 0 1 0

Thanks, a further question - has this been an issue for some time, or only recently?

2 months ago 0 0 1 0

Cheers, it sounds like the VPN and IP cycling might be confusing our systems - although if you're still able to access via the website with this approach it might be specific to our implementation in TfL Go that we need to look at

Hi, my team builds TfL Go - this is not good. Can I check you're on the latest version of TfL Go, and also whether you're on Android or iOS, and can you login successfully via the website directly?

FYI my team builds TfL Go, and I'm always keen to hear examples where we're getting it wrong so we can improve - feel free to get in touch anytime 😃

Sure, emailed 😃

oh and now even after a hard close, it forever opens on the 'Confirmation code' screen... I'm wondering if it actually created me an account?

2 months ago 0 0 0 0

Just downloaded it to have a play - seems to be stuck on sending some confirmation code? I never get it...

Also, opening directly onto login/register is a bit off-putting 😃
