Went to Always Sunny in Philadelphia themed party last night with my bud.

Worth the hangover I've got today.

The rejects in Darktide should've been dead soon as they entered an area with Nurgle's corruption. I'm pretty sure lore states they are truly blessed by the Emperor in order to keep doing all the shit they can.

I've only had fun fighting against Nurgle's forces in Darktide while most other games I just go 'FUCK!' when Chaos shows up.

The 40k game starts talking about an 'unknown threat' and that's when I know the campaign is about to get unfun.

How Deidre came to work at Bolt Reaction is a story in itself. She may be our smiling barmaid but there's a good reason why she doubles as a bouncer too.

That's a comic plot for later.

I will say that her backstory is just as dirty as most of the clientele at the bar.

Some would think rebooting the Sylvia comic after I poured time and money into making three issues was a weird call.

I meant it when I said I felt there was no salvaging the plot in the first version.

Making sure I wrote an enjoyable and coherent story felt the most important to me.

Only Artie is aware things have changed in the comic's artstyle.

Why? Artie's cartoon nature just allows him to perceive certain things differently.

Tom still sees everything as the same but Artie knows bringing up the changes might cause some existential crisis.

Easier to not deal with that.

The best part of being a comic writer is realizing a large portion of your readership will not be from social media.

I feel I overestimated the usefulness of scrolling format on Abnormal Shift. Seemed like a good idea but it's created an issue in advertising the comic panels on certain sites.

After the next chapter we're switching to a standard comic page format.

That'll also make it easier to bring to print!
