@storyhouselive.bsky.social Thanks to staff this afternoon 20/12/25 assisting my daughter. Shame that her panto experience was spoiled by poor behaviour of argumentative adults in audience who should know better ๐ข

Note to self - NEVER buy another #Vauxhall - customer service is non-existent ๐ข
Might not be an option but have you approached real nappy providers? Some councils used to offer free trials for these in the past ?
If you're thinking of buying a Vauxhall car....pls think twice! My car has been with local dealer since 7 Jan for warranty repair.... 22 plate with 14k miles....dealer cannot advise when I might get it back.... apparently they been waiting on parts from Vauxhall for some other jobs since July!!!! ๐ฒ๐ฒ
It makes a huge difference - my MA tutor advised a slight tweak to my train of thought and it really helped with focus and motivation (though getting back into it after hols is a diff story!)
Some people excel at making money, while others excel at making a difference. Imagine the impact if more of the former chose to invest their means in the latter.
Happy Christmas all - He was born that we might have life everlasting ๐

In a former teaching role, suggesting a walk was seen as a positive strategy and was endorsed for student wellbeing ๐
Agree it's highly unlikely (and short-sighted and sad๐ข)....but continue to pray that one day 'someone' will wake up and make the connection that so many of us already have #EYSky
Unless.....and this might be a prayer answered.....Ofsted for EY becomes play focused????
Some parity/clarity would be good.....esp with free childcare extension means potentially more ch within EYFS... quality of EY matters......play supports so much but this is often ignored as 'school readiness' is often perceived in academic terms only.
On a positive note he starts his new grad job this week so he has some exciting stuff to look forward to in the future ๐
Son sat on the website patiently from 8am......he still didn't manage to get a ticket ๐ข
Today has been a good day....submitted my final assignment for my PG Diploma .....and got a job interview lined up for next week too ๐
Definitely worth looking at opportunities to present ideas at conferences.....if you have any experience relevant to Early Years I know that TACTYC are asking for papers for their November conference? docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...
We have this in the UK....https://www.trefoilguild.co.uk/
Fabulous......and it will be a useful skill.....some 40 years ago I learned basic sign language as a Girl Guide for my 'Friend to the deaf' badge.....have used those skills more than I ever thought I would !
I've used a thin twig/stick with sand too.....cat litter trays or even plastic takeaway boxes are ideal containers...cheap and cheerful ๐
@amandarussell35.bsky.social Yay...found you!
#EarlyYearsSky Consultation on Apprenticeship for L2 Early Years which may be relevant to some of you to comment on? www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/developing-n...
Can relate.....have had a slow day today conducting a lit review!
Does it also link to OneDrive? Considering something like this for my final year of MA study......
Saturday morning problems.........she knows I need a few more minutes before facing the day! #cats
Scary when you realise the keys are missing.....did it after a hike in the Peaks when my two were 8/10....had been a beautiful day then the fog dropped and rain started.....crying children.....thankfully had used GPS to track my route and backtracked a couple of miles........crisis averted!
Remember taking part in an amazing online version of EY #BrewEd during COVID with @aaronearlyyears.bsky.social and @drsue22.bsky.social #EarlyYearsSky ๐๐๐
