...but in all honestly I had a great time. Fun set pieces and locations, good use of atmosphere, and resource management for both characters (a bit less on Leon) still quite important. Enemy variety was pretty good too vs some 'recent titles' [RE7].

Definitely gonna try another playthrough.

Finished up RE9 last night. Really fun game and interesting story, really fleshes out the RE universe! I'm wondering if this or the next one is kinda the end for the old mainline story titles...

I give the game a 8.5 out of 10. A few clunky animations and controls and iffy small story stuff...

I'm a bit eager to do more and I think the devs have a solid contender here for a pirate pve game, maybe a tiny bit of competition for Sea of Thieves or a game for those that like pve to come to this instead. I guess we'll see in time.

( I know Sea of Thieves has pve though so idk. )

So tried out Windrose last night;

Good: Building is snappy, solid. Ship combat, management is easy yet fun. Water physics are cool.

Iffy: Basic combat isn't good, npcs tend to rush you down and give you very little breathing room. You can dodge, block, but they just gang up on you.
