Haven't Compile Heart releases been doing worse and worse over time in terms of sales? That's the impression I've had from their Steam releases at least. They frequently have very few reviews. Both Game Maker Re;Volution and Riders vs Dogoos have less than 100 reviews on Steam
All we have are raisins 😔

You may not like it, but this is what peak (N64) performance looks like
Sorry current discourse, but I will play those PS1 games rendered at 1440p resolution with a 16:9 widescreen patch and texture warping turned off.
You will not convince me that low resolution, 4:3, texture warping is a more enjoyable experience. You will not convince me that these images look bad
You're not a creep, you're a weirdo (pawsitive)! There's a difference!!!!

Its wild to me how much has changed. I remember reading Zoophobia in highschool. Around this time she was doing really cheap commissions on furaffinity. I feel like I missed out, somewhat, not having been able to commission her back then.
I really miss Vivziepop's old artstyle. Her new stuff is an evolution of it, and definitely more refined, but it used to be more rounded, toonier, and well, more furry, and I really miss it. I love her work but Zoophobia holds a special place in my heart.
Your English is excellent, no worries at all. Your posts were understood just fine and I appreciate your response! I find the cultural differences surrounding this topic interesting.
I noticed you mentioned something about antagonism towards creators, but its more nuanced than that; Americans at least are very antagonistic towards corporations, viewing them as soulless machines working for profit, but the individual people working at these companies they view with love.
There's this view that art should be accessible and available to as many people as possible, and piracy consistently does a better job at achieving this. In a world with studio closures and bankruptcies, fires and accidents, or times when things like source code get lost, piracy prevents this loss
Additionally, there's a view that piracy is a necessity for the preservation of art, that due to the involvement of money and capitalism, the preservation of created works cannot reliably depend upon the companies that own these works, either due to financial inability, mismanagement, or negligence.
In my experience, most Westerners, view piracy through a lens of being, at worst, a victimless crime. The specific circumstances of the media being pirated play a role however, with people more likely to be critical towards the piracy of indie works and small companies.
It's just showing a comma instead of a period.

Since you mentioned being a fan of *ASURA* and *FUGA*,
I tried to capture a style that blends the atmospheres of those two games.
Since *ASURA* is quite an old game, I was truly delighted that you still remember it.
ASURAとFUGAのファンという事でしたので
両方の雰囲気をバランスとりつつ描きました。
From what I understand, the Steam version is just the PS1 game in an emulator. Not a particular well emulated version, either.

current very funny status of the en/jp private server war going on is that a lot of jp twitter accounts are like wow... is everyone overseas really this communist??? not realising that the answer is literally only yes when it concerns our treats (video games and tv shows)
