A close-up of some of the detail of the diorama walls. The pink baseboards and moulding are up, and I made a thin blue column to put in the corner to hide the gap. The baseboards and blue column are made from cardboard pieces covered in heavy cardstock that I scored and folded.

Today I managed to push through and work on my diorama thing for a few hours. I had some really bad nausea hit just after I started, so I drank some water and let my guts calm down before pushing ahead. Managed to get some progress made. My body is definitely gonna pay for this!

Doing things today was difficult. I can mostly only do things around the house on the weekend, cause I get too exhausted to do anything after working days during the week. Sometimes I hit a wall on the weekend trying to do the things, and not everything gets done. I'm struggling to be ok with that.

The baseboards are brown kraft cardboard for now and will not be attached until i figure out the best color. More to come.

Most artists i find only like their own art for a short period. Once a thing is finished and I've had a few days to reflect, it has lost all usefulness for me. I definitely enjoy the process more than the result.
