I currently have 3 different CAT tools open. Ah, the life of a freelancer... #AmTranslating
postcards with cats on them that have bits of fur that you can pet
Found some fun postcards at Itoya today: pet-able cats!
That may be the smuggest face ever drawn.
......You'd never be caught.
Did you know that when all the creatures of the sea gather together to sing that it's the urchin who has the most significant portion of the song?
It's called the uni-verse.
I'd be happy if more than a handful of them could get subject-verb agreement right.
I can be pretty happy with a 3. It's auspicious.

A chastity belt OVER the armor? What's this from?
It's unsuspecting because it doesn't know we're about to assassinate it...with our mouths & bellies.
If they were crazy expensive, I would need to at least have Lucca, regardless.
I saw that these were on display in Ikebukuro, but I was wondering if they'd go on sale. Definitely picking them up, too, and I hope they expand the set!
At the end of Season 1, Episode 7 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Dio reclines after turning a town into zombies. On his lap is some weird human-animal hybrid. It is unclear what it is, what it has to do with the story, or how it came to be.
I am slowly making my way through JoJo but remain dedicated to the cause. For all the Bizarre Adventures experts, what the heck is this weird-ass dog thing on Dio's lap at the end of Episode 7?! I need answers!
They're good! I wouldn't say they'll blow you away, but they're just different enough from what you might find elsewhere that it can be a nice, new experience. I don't go a lot, but I've never been disappointed I did.
Trimmin' some bushes?
Most other things are photoshopped in advertising, so that wouldn't be surprising. I don't know about US ads, but all Japanese ads with photos have a little asterisk warning at the bottom that say the image may not be entirely accurate.
Oh, cool! I wonder what Chrono Trigger merchandise they have for sale.
I used to do this with bratwurst. So good!
Neat! This is weirdly fascinating! I'm sure the story is something like "they just decided they liked that," but I wonder what the conversations were like that led to the different marketing decisions.
Usually burger photos are set with the top bun slightly back so that what's in the middle is more prominent and easily viewed. In a lot of food photos, this trick is usually hidden by using a lower angle, but for some reason these are taken more head-on.
"Adding manpower to a late software project makes it later."
As a freelancer, I seldom get to go to dinner & drinks after work with clients or agencies I work with, which makes it awful fun when I do~!
Oops! I remembered him swordfighting, but did not remember the massages.
I like when a project manager gives me a buncha little tasks to do. It's like they know that the best way to get me to do a lotta work is to make sure I can check things off. (When the PM doesn't do this, I end up mentally segmenting tasks to try and motivate myself.) #amTranslating
I really understand the feeling 😅 I hate to make this comparison, but it may end up being similar to how I try to ignore that Ezra Pound edited Eliot's "The Waste Land" and was a major contributor to shaping one of my favorite poems.
Well, of course...if they couldn't lie to us to get us in the door, then how would they ever get anybody to listen in the first place?
Never knew about this place! Cool!
