The look on my face when I saw #ElizabethBerkley show up on #CobraKai

As I get deeper into #CobraKai’s seasons, it occurs to me it’s become #TheKarateKid with #Bloodsport touches. And that’s, a very good thing.

Seeing Chozen rock out to #EyeoftheTiger is perhaps the highlight of anything I’ve watched in the last year or so.

Going through #CobraKai, as previously I had only gotten through season 2 before life got in the way. It’s funny seeing so many studios getting a hold of so many properties, and they rely on nostalgia to get them through. All of them can learn from this show, as it is nostalgia done correctly.

Felt #TheOscars were an ok show. #Conan rocked it, Saldana’s speech was authentic and relatable. But many of the wins, as well as the striped down approach to how Best Song is dwindled down to pontification and not the singing of the actual songs, was extremely lacking.

Watching for a podcast to be recorded later on today.

After staying away from it for 30 years, rereading #PetSemetary has reaffirmed to me that this book might be @stephenking.bsky.social’s most terrifying book. We’ll see as I continue reading his books in publication order. As well as reviewing his cinematic adaptations.
