After a long drive to reach the Into the Glacier experience, electrical and mechanical faults with the main truck meant we couldn’t go up onto the glacier! The pupils showed great patience and understanding. I dont think they minded too much in the end….❄️⛄️🏔️
Heavy snow over night has closed the road to Hellisheiði geothermal power station, so we’re taking a different route to hopefully still make it to the Into the Glacier experience 🤞🏻our current views from the coach aren’t too bad though! 🇮🇸 😎

The first group out riding their Icelandic horses today. 🇮🇸 Everyone came back with big smiles on their faces, and many telling me ‘they just wanted to keep going faster’ 😂 🐎
