No one thinks McBride is a threat to anyone. Pulling this shit only further confirms that the anti-trans stuff was never about safety. It’s performative cruelty to dehumanize and humiliate trans people.

The ban on trans people in bathrooms doesn't just apply to Sarah McBride, it also applies to staffers. There are multiple trans staffers in congress and this would essentially force them out. Many are not out to their colleagues either.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy we have a Twitter alternative but I am so angry that we even needed one.

I am sick of having to retreat and carve out our own spaces because of the way hate is applauded and emboldened.

Glad to see more people moving here. I am sick to death of being inundated with transphobia every time I open my phone.

Imagine if conservatives really cared about protecting women or children… they wouldn’t be cheering for half the people they do.

I’m sick of the hypocrisy.
