A week of Celtic nations’ saints feasts opens with that of St Dewi, who gave his name to Davidstow (traditionally, Dewstow) in north Kernow. His mother Non gave her name to the neighbouring parish of Altarnun.

It’s #worldcancerday - I was diagnosed with a form of eye cancer in 2020 and underwent treatment at the phenomenal @cccnhs.bsky.social the following year. The staff there were and are simply amazing. I’m so thankful for the support of family, friends and the NHS.

Good to see the greatest sitcom of all time - Cabin Pressure by @johnfinnemore.bsky.social - is on BBC Sounds. Always worth a listen.
