Before joining ODU, Stanley earned his MPA from Northern Illinois University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. At NIU, he worked as an Administrative Specialist at the Center for Nonprofit Excellence and a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Public Administration.
Meet Stanley Peter Anukwuocha! Stanley is a doctoral student in Public Administration and Policy at Old Dominion University’s School of Public Service, where he serves as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. His research focuses on motivation and human resource management in public service.

Dr. Moon earned her Ph.D. in Public Administration & Policy from the School of Public Service at Old Dominion University and continues to advance opportunity, equity, and inclusion for communities across the Commonwealth.
A proud ODU alumna, Dr. Moon brings over 20 years of leadership experience across government, education, and nonprofit sectors. She previously served as Chief Diversity Officer of the U.S. House of Representatives and has led impactful initiatives at Girl Scouts USA .

The January 9th forum will focus on site-specific resilience plans, strategies, and projects from Isle of Wight County to the City of Virginia Beach.
Registration is free. We hope to see you there!
The Forum brings together government staff, scientific experts, private sector engineers, NGOs representatives, and other stakeholders to facilitate information exchange and share best practices for regional resilience planning for site-level adaptation and flood mitigation.
The ODU School of Public Service is working with The Institute for Coastal Adaptation & Resilience and the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission to organize the next Hampton Roads Adaptation Forum. The forum is on January 9, 2026.
