I only had a narrow table, so the map was unfurled to maximum length but minimum width. Improvise, adapt, overcome 😅
Had a great time running Escape From Planet Hulk at Gaelcon this weekend. Time constraints led to some rule of cooling for the final battles but they both ended in fantastically epic fashion #MarvelMultiverseRPG
I’m going mad for designing variable and engaging encounters, so here’s a batch of Hydra-themed henchmen to challenge your player characters with.
In today's blog post, I list a few characters I'd like to see get the (Early Days) treatment in the #MarvelMultiverseRPG.
So, we found out the next expansion's gonna be focusing on Secret Wars. Here's what I think about it: fantasticsuccess.substack.com/p/secret-war...
Thinking about the potential contents is keeping me awake…

I've spent the week obsessing over encounter and dungeon design, so I had to write about incorporating those things into the #MarvelMultiverseRPG today. fantasticsuccess.substack.com/p/where-dark...
Despite thinking I wouldn't be able to write one of these today, I went to a comic book store and found some inspiration for a one-shot idea for the #MarvelMultiverseRPG. Get outside and do things, folks, it'll do you good.

My #MarvelMultiverseRPG Avengers Expansion finally arrived, and this is my favourite bit so far. Love to see some #Conan acknowledgement.
Today’s One-Shot Or Not? is a spin on the Loner Adventure rules from the Spider-Verse Expansion, converting the first issue of #Carnage from 2015 into a one-shot adventure for the #MarvelMultiverseRPG!

My physical edition of the Avengers Expansion hasn’t arrived yet, so I used the newly released pdf to draft up renditions of the Batcave and Fortress of Solitude from their most recent film adaptations with the HQ rules!

My newest post is pure speculation, butt with the release of the #AvengersExpansion, I just have to write about my other expansion hopes

Changing it up a little: How well can I turn a single comic book issue into an adventure module? Read on and find out.

Thanks, man!
This was such a great surprise.
Eagerly awaiting the confirmation email to say that my Avengers Expansion has shipped, but while we're all waiting, here are some plot hooks to get your creative cogs turning.

Who talks like this, George?!?
Horribly reductionist view of cinema. For the frames: 1st is an establishing shot of a locale that undercuts what you expect from Gungans based on Jar Jar. 2nd has internal context with the twin suns and their setting reflecting Anakin’s fall to the Dark Side. 3rd is a Kurosawa homage. 4th? Cool POV
Shots consist of frames and these specific frames are from shots that linger and look more or less the same for as long as they’re onscreen. Without using gifs or videos, the point is made.
