The focus of the webinar was on Quality Improvement (QI), and we announced details of the launch of our QI Intervention plans, which aims to:
-Improve completeness of data submissions from NHS trusts in England
-Enable equitable benchmarking across providers
-Enhance accuracy of audit reporting.
We note a special ‘thank you’ to Simon Cairnes, who kindly supported the webinar by also delivering a presentation, on behalf of our colleagues at the National Disease and Registration Service, NHS England.
Presentations were made by NNHLA project team members Professor Kate Walker (Senior Methodologist) and Vikki Hart (Senior Project Manager) (on behalf of colleagues at Homerton University Hospital, London).
The webinar was expertly chaired by our Co-Clinical Leads, Dr Cathy Burton (representing Haematology) and Dr David Cutter (representing Oncology), who both did a fantastic job in leading the proceedings and providing the audience with some valuable insights, based on their own clinical experience.
