I think most modern composers who want to create a less dissonant sound are working in film (specifically outside of horror where Quay brothers/Penderecki fashioned soundtracks still reign)

I think products which contain corn-syrup shouldn’t be marketable as sugar free, that seems dangerous for people with diabetes since corn-syrup contains glucose and can spike blood sugar? Coffee Mate sugar free creamer is one to avoid…

My elementary school got renamed Justice Page (from Ramsey) in an initiative launched by students, I’m hopeful other schools will follow that path as well

I was deeply disappointed by the lack of nature/science/climate/enviro on many major end-of-year book lists—so I decided to make my own!

History Uncovered: Taylor Park water tower SHEBOYGAN — It’s been confused with a flying saucer, a railroad roundhouse and a sports venue, but most often the question asked is, “What is it?”

The coolest water tower I’ve ever seen was in Sheboygan just a couple weeks ago- the thing is built like a cathedral and I spent two whole days just trying to wrap my head around what the thing was

I want to be one of the cool people who post their bookshelves but I may or may not use the ridge of the shelf in front of the books somewhat like a junk drawer

Audiobooks may also be a good media to explore if you’re looking for continuous narrative, bonus is they’re often adless depending on which platform you choose

Recently I’m leaning towards audiobooks, but I love all formats for different reasons. However, I will say that as a broke college student, often when I buy physical books, I get them secondhand.

These trees are much older than me. They will exist long after I’m gone.
