An image of **Markarian’s Chain**, a string of galaxies in the Virgo Cluster, set against a deep black cosmic background. Several prominent elliptical and spiral galaxies appear as bright, glowing smudges of light, with the most notable being a pair of interacting galaxies known as "The Eyes" near the center. The field is densely populated with smaller, distant stars and faint galactic clusters. In the bottom right corner, a small telescope icon and the text "PARAMOUNT OBSERVATORY" are visible.

So have added another night of data to produce this updated image, seem to have lost the colours from the Galaxies, will do another version, see if I can get a better final image.

My latest 🔭 image captured over the night of 7 & 8th of April is the Leo Triplet a small group of three interacting spiral galaxies that provide one of the most stunning "all-in-one" views in the night sky.

A wide-field astrophotography shot of the Fireworks Galaxy (NGC 6946) against a dark, star-speckled background. The galaxy is a face-on intermediate spiral, showing a bright, warm yellowish core surrounded by intricate, sweeping spiral arms. These arms are accented with subtle blue tones from young star clusters and vibrant pinkish-red patches indicating H II star-forming regions. The entire galaxy has a soft, ethereal glow, and the surrounding black space is dotted with numerous sharp, distant stars of varying brightness. Whilst cloudy skies are still persisting here, spend a bit more time working on older data. This is my image of C12 the fireworks galaxy from August 2025. I do like this Galaxy with all it's star forming areas in it's spiral arms 🔭

A large bubble with red ha gasses on a dark background

Re-processing more 🔭 older data, this time C11 the Bubble Nebula, using the newer python tools in #Siril and getting some nice clean images. However, not happy with the bright star, couldn't figure out how to improve it?
