I believe this book by Roy Thomas is out tomorrow. Got comps yesterday, it’s a fun read, with lots of pictures of old comic fandom, and Marvel bullpen stuff. From TwoMorrows, so you know it’s good!

And Lucy won’t pull the football away from Charlie Brown’s foot at the last second. Sure, why not rust all of these people who lied to Congress? Would it help to hook them up to lie detector machines?

What I enjoy about doing what you did in reading the Mike Nichols bio is that it gives context on those times, which helps inform about people they interacted with. The comedy scene was changing so much in the later 50s.
