Well the oc tag page hasn't been showing me any designs I find interesting.
This might be a shot in the dark, but If any of my followers would be willing to share there oc designs with me so I can have something to model I would appreciate it.

Well I gave ff maiden of black water a try it was also really good.
I really enjoyed the environment design and it has that same weight to it that re5 has so that was a nice surprise.
Wish I could figure out how to make textures in similar quality to it.

Weight painting was a bit annoying with the jacket and I underestimated how much texter space the fishnet takes.

Finished the fatal frame 2 remake.
I actually had a really nice time playing it. Out of all the recent survival horror games I think I enjoyed it the most. Here hoping they remake 1 and 3 now.
Here my rough Idea for the background. Still need to add a lot of grime, clutter and imperfections so the texter doesn't look so flat but it a good start so far.
Maybe a change of pace would help or find people you can talk about your interest?

My schedule been less than idea lately but I finally finished the hair and jacket.
Now it just rigging and maybe a background if I think of a good idea.
Well there a few options, you can move the object out of the way temporary, adjust the camara, or use back facing culling node to hide the inside faces. I'm sure there are more ways but these are the 3 that pop into my mind.

Are you trying to do a custom shadow map or is it a issue with how it rendering the normal shadows?
Getting closer to finished now just need to make the jacket and hair look better, and maybe the eyes.
It weird how adding a bit of hair shine make me think i'm looking at a completely different model.
Now if I could only figure out how to shade clothing better.

Have you ever consider making dev videos?
I know it would cut into dev time a bit but that demo was insanely pretty and I'm morbidly curious about your design process.
Also maybe this is the sleep depravation or the wine talking but I think it real nice when artists do things outside there comfort zone even if it ends up not looking as good as there normal art, Like more dynamic poses or different mediums for example.
Messy art is still art at the end of the day.

If I may give a suggestion. Try youtube redux it has a option to disable video preview that helped keep mine from doing stuff like that. I believe youtube counts accident video previews views as interests.
It won't be a instant fix but that and using don't recommend fixed mine after a few months.
I was worried a bit that I got too creative with the animation since there was no bios for the character. So I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it.
I'll probably model the artist other oc in the future but I dread the idea of getting inspired by them again. 168 is a lot of hours to add to my blender time and their art tickles the part of my brain that likes ff9.

Modeling a desert since the characters are sand sharks. Figured having a boat power by yokai would be more fantasy (and justify why a boat can travel on sand).
it really just research on Japanese shipwright/yokai and animation left. I want to try and be more dynamic this time, animation wise.
