Reddit User Uncovers Who Is Behind Meta’s $2B Lobbying for Invasive Age Verification Tech Meta funneled $2B through nonprofit shells to push age verification laws targeting Apple and Google while exempting its own platforms from surveillance requirements.

It's Meta, they want it at an OS level so they have a constant tie from ID to physical devices so they can say they can serve more accurate ads and make more money: www.yahoo.com/news/article...

I'm not joking when I say mRNA technology is more important than "AI" and it's a tragedy we're throwing billions into one while our government is aggressively defunding the other.

A painting of a seagull walking brazenly out of a convenience store holding a bag of potato chips in beak. In her wake a brown tabby bodega cat is sitting shocked on top of two crates of fruit (but is not about to get up and do anything.) A small white dog in smaller green glasses also watches shocked from the floor. The shelves are stocked floor to ceiling with snacks.

Apple music is what I use in combination with Bandcamp and physical CDs which I rip to lossless files on my PC and phone. I got tired of Spotify's BS and honestly might ditch Apple Music as well soon.

Geology specimen photo

A selection of beautiful golden pyrite ammonite fossils from the Jurassic Coast. Once upon a time, these fossils were common, but because the layers they come from in the cliffs haven't eroded recently, they are quite hard to find.

Oh and folder filtering based on key term searches. You can make folders and organise the emails based on a rule you create for specific terms showing up in them to sort them into different folders. That will help you go through important ones first.

Filter via sender for ones you know are junk, unsubscribe from the sender in one of the emails, and then select all in the filter to delete them. Keep doing that for as many senders as you can tolerate in one sitting one day at a time. Then it's manual review after that.

I need people to know that the photos of colourful moon are not from Artemis II. They were made by a Ukrainian photographer, who enhanced the colours of the moon's surface to represent its mineral composition.

I can't stand to see an individual work be misattributed and misrepresented like this.
