Bit of a deep pull today, Jim Mazinger was a human-ified version of Mazinger Z which Go Nagai made for another manga of his, Violence Jack. Jim was a blind (per Mazinger Z being a piloted mech) black boxer who was given directions by Mini-Koji Kabuto there.
