.... my mom just told me that she's resistant to anesthetic and always needed more and that seems like something that would have been good to know before the surgery 😅

Out of surgery and ok. Apparently I'm not supposed to feel anything through the nerve blocker but I 100% can and it hurts (and the surgeon said it was the 2nd most difficult surgery she's ever done) so healing miiiiiiight be a bitch 🥲

Haha time travel is a fun way to look at it, I'll keep that in mind!

Really nervous about tomorrow ☹️. I have surgery (not one I was expecting, but nothing life threatening) and I've never been under general anesthesia before and it's scaaaaaary 😭

Ok lunch rant over. My fyp just has me in a weird mood.

Bad people can make incredible things and good people can make terrible things. When we confuse the character of a person with the quality of their art, we open the door to harassing artists whose work we find distasteful, and to dismissing accusations against artists whose work we love.

It feels like when a creator turns out to suck, everyone decides their work must have sucked all along, and it's frustrating. The idea that bad people make bad art is so dangerous.
