Games were made for specific screen layouts & messing around with them because you think you know better than the dev's generally doesn't end well, as demonstrated by my friend Darius Tate👇

I cannot believe how many war crimes they get away with while western leaders are nodding approvingly. It's infuriating.
Well, I liked it 😤
... A bit.
The desperate campaign to push AI down our throats is just what Nestlé did with baby formula, or Monsanto with patended seeds.
Manufactured Intermediation—inserting a corporate tollbooth into a process that used to be self-sustaining, using a low initial barrier to entry to destroy the alternative.
This just further supports my theory of the three levels:
-Bigoted folk think "woke" means bad, use it constantly
-Decent folk think "woke" means good, never use it
-Ignorant folk think "woke" means "preachy" and nothing else, uses it at the worst possible times 😩
BAFTA pulling a trailer for an autobiographical game about surviving sexual assault only hours before it was said to be a part of a showcase is an exceptionally bad look.
Why do the Japanese like their buns askew (2026)
It's a much better game than you'd expect given its obscurity.
I thought this was a neat watch
It's the basis of a dictatorship: they have to be in a forever-war to designate external enemies, and eliminate internal dissent. If they are defeated somewhere they will find other victims to blame for their problems.
It will stay in the charts until 88 in the US and 89 in Japan, helped by a "deluxe" cab mounted on hydraulics that must have been really cool to use. It's also been ported on basically everything, from 8 to 32 bits consoles and computers until the mid-90s.

Space Harrier (Sega, oct 85)
The most famous of the "behind view" shooters of the era, with basic gameplay but a striking psychedelic design, cool music and incredible graphics, it propels Sega on the forefront of the arcade scene.

Every time without fail, the "don't bring politics into it" guy is always Right wing, and it's because they don't like being portrayed as a piece of shit in the fiction they like.

On Nov 12th SNK (boo!!) & Plaion Replai (who??) are releasing a not emulation, not FPGA, updated for HDMI, region selectable, overclockable but still with it's old RGB etc connections AES+ as well as a selection of AES games, all of which are fully compatible with the original AES hardware & games
The Jp ROM version of RF-2 loaded fast but got fundamentally broken in many ways when Konami changed it from Bubble System to EPROM hardware.
So what Hamster have done is essentially port the Bubble Sys version (undumped) but to the now correctly functioning ROM hardware, so it works properly
In case it wasn't clear, I meant it's apparently not an option for them, they think they have to subdue or subvert.
There are way too many bloodthirsty dictators in the world right now, it's really depressing.
Because "being nice and respectful" is apparently not an option 🤔
This will probably turn out great for them in the long run. There is no chance that everybody hates them and starts persecuting them.

Before this week, I had never seen Predator 2, so I had to pull it out to properly review the game. Turns out, I hadn't really missed anything, and as a result, the game is...interesting, to say the least.
I'm seeing a lot of confusion, so I'll try my best to clarify what this is about:
- I'm building a way to "port" GB/GBC games to the GBA. The end result is a native GBA game
- This uses a custom GB to GBA emulator (think 'Classic NES Series' but for GB) + native GBA code
wow this track is hard and took many hours of driving but is so satisfying to pull off

I've hinted at it so much there's no point in keeping it under wraps any longer.
For the longest time, I've been working on a way to port GB games to the GBA.
What I ended up building is a modified GB to GBA emulator that targets a fantasy console instead - I call it the GB Bridge.
Toujours très drôle (non) les US qui influencent la politique de tous les pays du monde mais qui chouinent quand il y a une vague impression qu'on influence la leur.
Period-accurate Magic with a whole MtG RPG on top? What a treat:
