Finished 3 26-foot Tom Baker scarves. I should take a break and give my hands a rest!
A photo taken of our table at the SMOFCon International party. Sat on the left is Emily January, a white woman with short brown hair wearing a blue Dublin 2029 t-shirt. In the middle is Catherine Sharp, a white woman with shoulder length brown hair wearing a purple Octocon t-shirt and a kilt in the Glasgow 2024 tartan. Stood on the right is Mandy Knight, a white woman with shoulder length brown hair wearing a maroon dress. The table is covered with an Irish flag, and covered in drinks bottles, sweets and biscuits, and some Dublin 2029 flyers and bookmarks.

An image of a baseball style hat with "dtns" black lettering on the front, three colored lines in red, yellow, and purple below the letters and "daillytechnewsshow.com" in small black lettering below the stripes. "dailytechnewsshow.com/store" in black text below the image of the hat, “Promo Code: DTNSROCKS” in black text below other text, all on a pale grey square background.
PSST! I know Black Friday is technically NEXT week, but nobody else pays attention to that anymore so why should we. Anyway I'm giving you the heads up that in celebration of finishing our 12th year of DTNS we're giving everybody 12% off stuff from the DTNS store.

Finished this last week. Just ordered more wool to knit another 26 foot scarf for a friend.
Thank you! Sold one hat so far!
Time for the annual local craft fair. I have some crocheted hats and blankets to sell.
Photograph of a white travel mug with the letters "dtns" in black and three horizontal coloured stripes below the letters. The website address in black lettering is on there but mostly out of sight on the mug.
I see one of these in my future! Postage cost to the UK actually isn't totally horrendous, I've seen worse, so may get it delivered here rather than to my friend in MN. Also, I have my eye on stickers for my new(ish) MacBook Air.

Crocheted TV blank finished today.
I’ve just discovered The Gadget Show has a podcast! It was a long running British tv show that started in 2004. I went to one of their big live events in Birmingham several years ago. The podcast only started earlier this year and is also published on YouTube.

Thank you :)
Looks like a scene from a science fiction film!
Coffee & crochet time! The crochet project will be a small blanket that will hopefully sell at a local craft fair.
Who will I be seeing in Los Angeles in August 2026?
Don’t forget! Tomorrow (March 1st) Glasgow Attending rates are rising, and today is also the final day to take advantage of our installment plan before it closes to new members.
