Fascist Farage & Starmer keep trying to make things harder for people seeking safety.
Me and my trusty Gazelle's are walking 23 miles next Sunday to support refugees and people seeking asylum in Scotland.
Anything that you can donate to the cause would be massively appreciated βπΎ

The asylum system is increasingly inhumane & cruel.
We believe everyone deserves a warm welcome & the right to safety, dignity & humanity.
All donations/shares would be hugely appreciated. Thank you!! β€οΈ

A reminder of when the Far Right went to Birmingham and got told to fuck off.
Hilarious.
"Not all men"
Nobody said it was.
But your first reaction upon hearing about the Rape Academy shouldn't be to get defensive - but angry.
You should be out marching in droves to show women that they're safe & more importantly, to show other men that you will not tolerate violence against women.
What a talent this guy is!
Seeing him in the Barras in November.
If you're into your soul, get him listened to.

Folk are right to be angry.
Conditions are declining & its not our fault.
Unions were decimated to hinder educating & organising.
The far right exploit this to scapegoat & fuel division.
We win not by writing folk off - but inviting them in with clear messaging to build working class solidarity.
Yeah! It seems to be back which is nice! Hope you have a good day! π
This is everything, once again.

Is Bluesky down for everyone? π€
Actually was! The dream team we never knew we needed haha! Really hope they do more events together, they all compliment each other really well!
Awk, this is such a lovely comment. Thank you very much. Haha, that's me, couldn't be anything but brutally honest if I tried. π I'm really glad you took something from it though, thanks a lot for your encouragement β€οΈβοΈ
Really glad it inspired Tim, and thanks a lot for the kind words!
Completely agree. Apathy is a very real struggle, but we do need to remember that we hold the key to our own liberation and educating ourselves and each other is at the heart of it! βοΈ
ππ terrible patter so it is
Yep. Best advice there is! βοΈ
Don't listen to the noise.
If you listen to anything - make it Akala's Fire in The booth (Pt.1)
Read, read, read! Don't let them say what you can achieve!
... and more importantly, what we, the working class, can collectively achieve when we put our minds together! βοΈ

This night reaffirmed one thing that was always true:
Education has liberated me in a plethora of ways - and it did the same for everyone on that stage. And without them, that thought-provoking night wouldnβt have happened - nor would it have sparked change.
Knowledge is power & it starts within.
This narrative wasnβt created by the working class - it was imposed from above.
It keeps ordinary people excluded from power and influence. And it's important that we challenge it.
Thatβs why real representation matters.
And in truth, the overwhelming realisation that being educated as a working class person in itself can feel very alienating. A lot of the time you're made to feel too much for speaking with substance. A dreamer that's too big for their boots. Or an imposter in fancy spaces.
