Why did I wait this long to play Dragon Quest Builders? This game rocks.

Sometimes I feel like if I could just get a good night’s sleep, I’d be able to write 10,000 words the next day.

I never end up getting a good night’s sleep.

I’ve been on the same journey of realisation myself. When I think back to how simple getting published seemed when I started 20 years ago, it makes me sad. Back then, I’d get handwritten feedback from agents. Nowadays, a form email if I’m lucky. Industry changed too, and for the worse I guess.

I actually had one of these when I was a kid and I cannot believe I’m seeing one again all these years later.

I like the idea that Dave is *targeting* the UK with rain etc. The weather system has got it out for us.

I love artists.

If you enjoy big budget sci-fi on the small screen, then go for it. From that perspective, it’s great!

I’ve found it’s best not to think too much about the books it’s supposed to be adapted from, because it doesn’t do a great job when it comes to the major themes.

But overall? I like it!

The depressing thing is, you’re probably not that far off the reality of it all.
