A cold starry windy night in Malaig, Highland still produced a gorgeous Red Sword-grass which was NFM. Several other bits inc Early Tooth-striped, Small Quaker, 2 Common Quakers and 13 Hebrew Characters inc an aberrant one. #Moths

G8 couple of days up in #Fife btwn Ruddons n West Wemyss. Some nice totals of 1350 Eiders and 900 Velvet Scoter but just 9 Slav and single RN Grebe + low numbers of LT Ducks and RBMs. Best putative drake Stejnegers Scoter, drake WW Scoter and 3 WB Divers! @rarebirder.bsky.social #birdingFife

The new toilet & shower block at Kew Villa caravan site was moved into place today! Still a few weeks before it’s operational, but we’re not far from opening it up!
