A cold starry windy night in Malaig, Highland still produced a gorgeous Red Sword-grass which was NFM. Several other bits inc Early Tooth-striped, Small Quaker, 2 Common Quakers and 13 Hebrew Characters inc an aberrant one. #Moths

Brilliant pics as usual Tom.
I like Georgias list better though. Braver choices would have made for an amazing year in the garden. Yours while likely just seem safe!!
Still present today at East Wemyss per Kris Gibb

G8 couple of days up in #Fife btwn Ruddons n West Wemyss. Some nice totals of 1350 Eiders and 900 Velvet Scoter but just 9 Slav and single RN Grebe + low numbers of LT Ducks and RBMs. Best putative drake Stejnegers Scoter, drake WW Scoter and 3 WB Divers! @rarebirder.bsky.social #birdingFife
This is the other bird.
No different bird.
Drake White-winged Scoter at Dumbarnie links/carrick Villa reasonably close in. Brown flanks visible!! #birdingFife #rarebirdsUK @rarebirder.bsky.social
Anyone want to comment on this bird the current thinking is it’s not a WWS but either maybe a 3cy Stejnegers or Stej x Velvet hybrid #birdingFife @rarebirder.bsky.social
Lovely views of drake White-winged Scoter at Buckhaven carpark in choppy seas along with the cracking white headed Velvet. #RareBirdsUK Fife

I have always corrected birders errors to varying degrees of reaction. Mostly good and appreciated
Agree but 20 others have just liked the pics and no comments!
Must be me but I don’t see a pacific diver in these pics.
The new toilet & shower block at Kew Villa caravan site was moved into place today! Still a few weeks before it’s operational, but we’re not far from opening it up!
Thanks to #ukspf funding, we have been able to work on this project!
